As I mentioned below, I'm in the process of building an online magazine, desire machines (header: assimilating sensuality), that caters exactly to my tastes --- and I'm looking for contributors!

I want the site to be a showcase for a variety of media - video, audio, visual art, fashion, design, art history, literary, interesting news....think of it as a combination of boing boing/fashion mags/wunderkammer/etc.

What I'm looking for from you is interest in contributing in any way that you think would be cool - interviews with interesting people, reviews of shows/exhibitions, cool things coming up in your area, showcases of artists/video/audio, upcoming events, neat things on ebay....

I want the content to fall somewhere between "more comprehensive than a blog" and "less lengthy than a vanity fair piece" and does not have to run on the time frame of a blog or a monthly ---- almost all of the details are up in the air right now.
